Light Storm Vampire was a Funny Car robot from Essex. It appeared in the 2002 Techno Games where it lost in its Heat.
The robot was created by Team Lightning who are known for Thunder, Brickbat, Lightstorm and Daft Ada. The team also appeared in Robot Wars with competitor Lightning.

In its Heat, Light Storm Vampire was against Rock Rover, Flintsone and Bugget. Rock Rover shot off straight away as the other three competitors were delayed in their start. Rock Rover passed the finishing line incredibly quickly as Flintstone sped off and snatched second place whilst Light Storm Vampire was close behind and finished third. Bugget was much slower in starting and finished last around the 7 seconds later.
