Fat Salamander was a robot that competed in the Swimming event during Series 2 of Techno Games in 2001. It didn't do well in the competition as it lost in its only heat to Swimosaurus.

Fat Salamander's only heat in Techno Games was against Techno Duck, Swimosaurus, Froggit and Flippersaurus. Unfortunately, it never moved from the starting line and lost overall to Swimosaurus which finished at 1:45:17. This meant that Fat Salamander was eliminated from the Swimming event.
