Cyber Shark was a robot designed by the Oakbank Robot Group that competed in the Swimming event during Series 1 of Techno Games in 2000. It performed decently as it reached the Swimming finals but broke down at the start. Despite not winning the event, the team received the Beat Teamwork Award at the end of the series.

2000
Cyber Shark's first heat was against Flower Bot. Cyber Shark won the heat flawlessly as Flower Bot never reached the finish line and Cyber Shark finished at 1:13. This win put Cyber Shark to the swimming finals, where it faced Calypso and Snappy.
Unfortunately, Cyber Shark broke down at the start and never got going. This meant that it got third place overall after Calypso finished first at 34 seconds and Snappy finished second at 49 seconds. In the end, Calypso was declared the winner overall and Cyber Shark received the bronze medal.

The Team also tried to compete in Robot Wars in Series 3 or Series 4 with Force-10: a robot with a lifting scoop.
